If there were ever a way to end the 2010 NCAA tournament it was the way Butler and Duke played it out in Mondays great game. With a last second heave from half court that had every ounce of Haywood's strength and Tar Heel Nation (read : Duke haters) behind it as well. All that emotion and hope was not enough. The dreams of hopeful sports fans everywhere and an upstart school bounced off the rim. For a moment you thought it was money, and you're not alone. A lot of people I am sure thought that it was going in. Why not, why shouldn't it drop since this years tourney saw some of the craziest upsets and wild finishes. That is what March Madness is supposed to bring. With only one number one making it to the Final Four, yet two number fives broke through as well. For the most part, the 2 seeds were in trouble throughout the tournament and the small schools such as Northern Iowa and of course Butler said to the country hey we can play some college hoops too.

Does this mean I am in favor of expanding the field as will be discussed by the NCAA this off season? No freakin way! If you expand the league you could be watering it down and these teams, these Butler teams, these George Mason teams, and all the other small schools won't be as sexy to pick during your brackets if you have 96 to choose from. Let's face it, it is all about the brackets each year. It is what makes the tourney that special few weeks that has everyone on cbssports.com ready to click the boss button on that first Thursday and then realize they don't need to once they witness their boss just had a great pick for an upset and is involved at their own desk.

I hope this tournament shows that they should keep things the way they are, the old adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it" comes to mind. Even though the hated Blue Devils won this season it was a great game and a great tournament. Now all we have to do is wait 48 more weeks before it starts up all over again.

Here in New England we love our sports and we love our drinks. As of late the cocktini consumption has been to dull the pain rather than enhance the enjoyment. The Celtics are inconsistent. The Bruins are deplorable and the Patriots are laying in wait. The Red Sox get a pass for now, at least until opening night against the Yankees. Well the guys wrap up the St. Patrick's Day Weekend with a visit from Uncle Dukes fresh off the selection show for March Madness. Adam was the oldest person at the parade and Timmy and his family drank Irish Milkshakes and ate corn beef. It is all here along with the fantasy round up as we head into the playoffs. As the Statler and Waldorf of the Wicked Pissa staff continue to nurse their respective injuries, Timmy with his left knee and Rubba Shoes with his right shoulder. The real athletes in Vancouver continue to impress and inspire all of us. The world of sports is a buzz with March Madness and the C's and the B's and the Sox, but not the ORB...nope Timmy and Adam are exchanging recipes and work-out tips. Ok, maybe not recipes, but definitely workout tips, they gotta get in shape for Man Weekend!!

This week there's a tranny in the mix and no Eddie Murphy isn't in town, we're talking A-Rod who apparently got off to a rocky start in NYC (was that punn too much of a reach?) Madam Kristen has named our friend A-Rod as one of "her" clients.

Also in the news, the C's and the B's look to be back on track and Schill is hanging up his bloody sock in favor of writing a blog and trashing everybody on EEI...WE LOVE HIM!!

Well the time has come, March Madness is upon us, there are a boat load of college basketball tournaments to watch this weekend, or you could watch some of the Hockey East tournament. The World Baseball Classic will be on all weekend on MLB network, don't forget that the Celtics are on Friday and Sunday and the Bruins on Saturday and Sunday, then Bracketology on ESPN on Sunday night at 6 PM.

Although, who cares about March Madness and all this other great sports to watch this weekend? Instead you can check on-demand, netflix or go to you nearest video store and look for some of these great chick flicks to watch with your significant other, Steel Magnolias, Beaches, Pretty Woman, When Harry met Sally, Thelma and Louise, White Oleander, Gone with the Wind, An Affair to Remember or Terms of Endearment. I'm sure if you don't feel like staying in and watching movies you could go to the movies and see Confessions of a Shopaholic or He's Just Not That In To Me. I guess I don't need to do blogs on sports anymore, since it is only Wicked Pissa Dude Radio, not Wicked Pissa Sports Radio. Maybe I will start doing a fringe report on best malls to go to, or the best coffee house to get a non fat latte.

That's it, I am getting rid of all my sports jersey's and t-shirts, turning in my membership to Red Sox Nation, getting rid of my cable box and going to just digital TV. I don't need NESN, ESPN, MLB Network, NFL Network, Versus, ESPN 2, ESPN Classic, SPEED Channel or Comcast Sports Net. I guess we will start talking about how to take care of our lawns and changing our oil on the show from now on. What am I going to do with all these pictures and sports memorabilia? I guess I need to have a yard sale. Maybe I will plant a garden this spring. I don't know what the big deal about watching sports is anyway. I mean I am on a Sports Talk Radio Podcast every week, I blog about sports at least 2 times a week, but I don't need to watch or follow them, do I? Well this is a confused Rubba Shoes Corey, keeping it real?
