It's that time of the year again and as we close in on Soxtober, time to get in the annoyingly long line of Red Sox Nation hoping to get tickets to potential playoff games. The likelihood that you will get tickets is slim to none, but hey, it's worth a try right? We'll probably have the Angels in the first round and despite last night's loss, we'll likely beat them and have the Yankees in the ALCS, so better get in line now.

Adam and Timmy are back to put the wraps on a weekend full of disappointment. Tiger blew a 54 hole lead for the first time in 15 tries. The Red Sox blew a chance to distance themselves from the surging Rangers in the AL Wildcard race. The Pats were the lone bright spot but even that was before the weekend. Adam and Big Papi both have issues with their "laundry" which the guys will get to in due time. Thanks for checking out the show and enjoy the week ahead. Well, it wouldn't be an ALCS for the Boston Red Sox if they weren't down and "out" or should I say, ALMOST out. 48 hours ago the Red Sox were just a few outs away from being eliminated from the ALCS and playing SKINS against the Yankees, but they battled back and are now staring down the barrel of a game 7.

Jason Varitek's game winning homerun came in the best case scenario. With the game tied at two in the sixth, Tek picked a very opportune time to swing for the fences and put the Red Sox up 3-2. It was perfect timing by the captain.So what was the actual story of this game? The Boston bullpen was lights out, pitching four innings of no-hit ball. Okajima pitched two very solid innings, Masterson took care of the eighth and the best closer in the history of the MLB, Papelbon closed out the ninth with his usual fire.

The Boston Red Sox are on the brink of yet another ALCS comeback. Whatever happens tomorrow night, the Red Sox have proven they have a bigger heart then any team in the MLB. The Red Sox have won nine straight elimination games in the ALCS. Now, they just need to do it one more time. I guess the DVR will have to take care of the Amazing Race for me tomorrow night, all eyes on the Carton tomorrow night for Red Sox nation.
