Manny Ramirez's 8th inning heroics lifted the Boston Red Sox to a 6-5 win over the Twinkies.

After trailing for the better part of the game 5-2, the 4 run 8th inning turned the tide and gave the Red Sox the 6-5 win and their second home win against the Minnesota Twins.

Hmmm...I wonder if this is a good sign for the future of Game 3 with the Celtics. The Sox finally pulled one off. After two blown saves by Pap, he came in and shut down the Twins in the ninth, Sox win 5-2. Click here for the box score.

On a side note, there is a girl I work with, but she works in Minnesota. We got talking about baseball because of this weekends series and I asked her if she had been to Fenway. She said she drove by it once and saw the "Green Giant" I am NOT LYING, she called it the green giant. I corrected her and gave her a big old ARE YOU F-ING KIDDING ME, for all of you!!!
