This weekend the boys were under the weather literally and figuratively. Timmy and Adam are both battling the cold that has swept through New England. Additionally, half of the staff (Scotty Dukes and Timmy) were out under the clouds and rain of Gillette on Sunday. All in All it was a weekend of victorious football from CHS all the way to the friendly confines of Foxboro. I suppose they'll talk about the unfortunate sweep in the Bronx and prattle on about their fantasy scores as well. Labor Day Weekend marks the end of the beach season for most and the perceived end of a career for one of our own. Dickey Seymour is headed west and the guys (Timmy really) wonder if the dynasty in Foxboro is closing down too. The Red Sox are toying with early tee times and the fantasy season really starts to heat up with the football draft upon us and the hockey draft just around the corner as well. The guys respective schools got started this past weekend and there is much to talk about along with a musical selection from #93's new 'hood in honor of Michael Bowden. Mighty Mouse is in the fold for the foreseeable future. The Red Sox and Dustin Pedroia have inked a six year $40.5 million contract with an option for 2015 that takes them through three arbitration and two free agent seasons. Schwing!
The Pats did a little wheelin' and dealin' today as well. Rosevelt Colvin is back in the fold at Foxboro! Colvin spent five seasons with the Patriots before being released in February. He was signed by the Houston Texans, but was released in August and has not played a game this season.

Colvin has 414 tackles and 52.5 sacks with the Chicago Bears and Patriots in nine seasons. The Patriots also signed linebacker Angelo Craig to the practice squad.
