Rubba's Racin' : Hotlanta Style

Watch out Luda here we come, NASCAR is coming to the A-T-L. The race is named for one of the premier sponsors of Jimmie Johnson. For some reason he always does well at races that have something to do with his car, so look for a good finish by Jimmie, but I don't think he will win. I am picking fan favorite, and currently the 29th driver in the standings, Dale Jr. to win the race this Sunday. Even though he has had some bad luck in the first three races, he has run near or up front for part of the races, so I know that he has the car's to do it. He needs to get a little help from above. Atlanta is one of the tracks he does very well at. Although he has never won a race he before, his average finish is 9th. I just see the team putting it all together this weekend.

I expect a good finish for all the Hendricks cars, so look for the 88 (Dale Earnhardt Jr.), 48 (Jimmie Johnson), 24 (Jeff Gordon) and 5 (Mark Martin) all to be in the top 10 most of the day. Coverage of qualifying starts at 6:30 PM tonight on SPEED and coverage (because I have no clue when these races start anymore) of the race starts Sunday at 1:30 PM on fox. Grab a cool one sit on the couch and tighten that Cheerios hat Tim, cause this is going to be an exciting race. Next week is my favorite track Bristol baby, I will check in on that next week.
