    Greatest Weekend Ever!

    I have been looking forward to this weekend all summer. It started last night with a action packed tilt between Chelmsford High School and Bridgewater-Raynham. The Lions kicked of the season at George Simoneon - Alumni Field with a 14-6 victory. Fine. Next! Boston College plays host to The Ramblin' Wreck today at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill. Look for the weather to factor in a bit as Paul Johnson leads his young Georgia Tech squad into the fray with the "flexbone" offense. The Eagles counter with a much underrated defensive squad. 27-13 should be about right for this game. Tomorrow the Pats open at Gillette!Kansas City looking to win about 4 games this season should not expect anything less than an angry defense that is looking for redemption after last February. If Tommy plays it could be limited time. 31-14 is my guess when the final gun sounds in Foxboro.

    Finally Gianina and I will be heading into Fenway for the opener against the Rays on Monday night. John Lester is set to get rock in this one. I see Varitek being a late inning hero in this one. Don't ask me why.

    Well kids we are en route to Chestnut Hill. I will be Twittering all weekend. Enjoy the privilege of being Boston sports fans and try to stay dry. We'll be doing the show Tuesday night this week due to my trip to Fenway Monday night. So tune in Wednesday morning for our usual wise ass analysis about the weekend that was on Wicked Pissa Dude Radio. Have a great weekend. I will!
