    What was the question again?

I had to chime in with my two cents on the post game press conference and how foolish they can be. Every week this fall after each Patriot game ends, most fans will shush their friends to hang on every word of Coach Belichick. Why? Because we love his terse wit and disdain for anyone who asks anything he does not wish to answer.

A reporter last evening asked how he would characterize Brady's leg injury. To which he replied, "I wouldn't characterize it." I feel emasculated for having witnessed the exchange, never mind the poor bastard that actually posed the question. Why do we enjoy watching our favorite coaches and players not answer the actual question that was asked? I believe we might be trying to pick up pointers for future use.

The next time my wife asks me why it took me six hours to get home from Foxboro after a Patriots game, I will try this one on for size. We felt at this juncture it was more important to take a long hard look at the talent that has something to prove and see how they could immediately fill our needs. In coaches language that means, we went to the foxy lady for post game because it was amateur night and we were pretty thirsty.

Gotta go NESN is running Francona's pre-game presser. I will be hanging on every uninformative syllable.
