18-0...now onto 19 and DONE!!

So there it is, we beat the Chargers and I hate to have been a pessimist, but it's the Boston sports fan in me that no matter how good the Patriots or any of our teams are, I won't believe, I mean truly believe, that they will win the game until the final buzzer sounds. They did it!!! The Lamar Hunt trophy is back in the hands of it's rightful owner, the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!!! It's onto Glendale to meet the vaunted Giants...(record scratch sound fx) What? The Giants are the team to beat now?

I know the spread is 14 points already and it'll probably go up, but now "experts" are talking about Eli Manning like he's the second coming of Peyton...oh wait I just remembered, that's right, let him be the second coming of Peyton, because Peyton almost always chokes in big games...

BRING ON THE GIANTS!!! Sure they played us tough in the final game of the season. Yes they've been playing well on the road. Ok, so Eli appears to have been turning a corner here, but let's be perfectly honest, do you think Eli Manning is going to pull this one off? The Boston fan in me, we'll leave it at that, no predictions or anything like that, just the satisfaction of going 18-0 and vying for 19 and done.

There'll be plenty to talk about on this game in the 2 weeks leading up to it and when the one New York Giant who hasn't learned his lesson yet, opens his mouth to tell the Pats how worried they should be starts flapping his gums, you'll know where to find the quotes and the fallout, right here.
