Finally, Fenway and Red Sox Nation can welcome David Jonathan Drew into the fold. He has arrived. Was it worth the wait? you ask, hell yes. When the series with the Indians began last week my blog entry spoke about two players that needed to step up and prove their worth.
They both did tonight. Eric Gagne came in and closed out (in a no pressure garbage time situation) the ninth. Conversely, JD opened up the game in the first inning with a grand salami - fine!
Does it get any better than a late October Sunday night Game 7? Well, Daisuke it is now your turn. Look forward to seeing our 6 million dollar man (his 2007 salary) shut down the Tribe. Eff Cheif Wahoo and the entire city of Cleveland. Even Lebron doesn't like you suckas.
